I just put the round stainless steel scorpion cans on my 03. I had wanted the staintunes but couldnt justify almost a thousand bucks for a slipon. the scorpions look and sound great, not too loud just deep and powerful, and on top of that they were only 520.00 to my door from pipe city

I also had to nix the idea of the Staintune pipe! Scorpion say's lifetime warranty, never needs repacking, I just wish I could hear one on a vfr, and hear or read more input from owners.

Hi I love my Scorpions. I love the look, the sound and they fit good. The price was right. They work with my soft luggage. They have a crash guarantee. For a soundbite go to the Scorpion web-site.

Hey Guys, I'll have to agree with you on the Scorpions. The fit & finish is superb and looks terrific. The only down side is that the mid-pipe is turning a goldish color. The best way I found to listen to the exhaust note is to put on ear plugs under your helmet (cuts down on wind noise) you can really hear it wind out! I dropped the exhaust yesterday & delivered it to my welder who is gutting the cat for me, and yes I'm having a Pwr Commander installed Friday. Kenji

ALL quality stainless steel subjected to heat cycles will turn amber over time. It's not a sign of low quality. If you notice, it's only on the pieces that are subjected to the highest heat changes. It has to due with alloy content of the metal.

    KC-10 FE out...

    Heat Shield on Mid-Pipe??

Does this include a new mid-pipe? If so can you still use the heat shield?
