I've tried the Heli bars and found them better than stock but not really taking it far enough into a up right touring ride. So I rolled the dice and tried some older bars from a VF1000. Well the difference id fantastic! The bike is now so comfy. I did need to drill holes for the control stops. And the bars are hollow, so vibs are felt more. But this is what Honda should have offered in a touring version of the VFR.

Did the control cables stretch up ok- and do they catch when turning lock to lock? Nice bike!

Just the throttle cable gets tight at full right turn. All else is good.

No contact with the tank or fairing.
