Limerick Contest

It's Friday night, I'm here yet I'm bored.
Though my posts at times have been adored.
I'd rather be riding
vice here and abiding,
but it's raining and gross, so I'm whored.

 

To rhyme takes some skill and some patience
Especially when there is a cadence.
A comma left out
Will make readers pout,
And that will be that for your audience.

 

This contest has come to an end,
but something else is around the next bend.
If you rhymed with Nantucket
and your meter don't suck it
you could be the winner my friend.

 

There once was a poster named Zanetti
To defend his title, he was quite ready
The contender would arrive
Bubba to match did strive
For the loser shall be called Betty

and the winner shall taste confetti

I posted a few rhymes,
T'was just passing the time...
Can I be the winner and boast?

 

The 5th gen VFR has a neat gear drive whine
My favorite sports a bright yellow shine
All the other gens are cool
Buying anything other would brand you a fool
Now let's all ride together to Hooter's and dine

 

Our little noz is lost
Out in the December frost
He got caught up at work
Not trying to be a jerk
I just thought he was sauced

 

There was a poster tagged Drewl
Who's tiger thread it like a fool
His buds are now dead, yet he still hit this thread,
the VFRworld's not so cruel.

Peace man.... you'll make it through and be better for knowing you mates while you did. Don't waste the lessons they taught you.

For those of you newer folks who have not had the pleasure of chatting with nozzle, he was an integral part of VFRW for quite a while. He has been otherwise engaged as of late, but we hope he can stop by more often.
