Ok, ill try to make this short, then ill post pics to explain. A couple of months ago (i dont ride often) my 93 vfr started having electrical issues. Sometimes when i would turn the ign switch on, the bike would completely die. Then it would just come right back on and start just fine. When i say 'die' i mean all electrical would go out. I thought it was the battery, so i started poking around for loose connections. Look what i found.

This is the plug that connects to the starter relay, see below.

    Should i....
A Clean and re-use said plug?
B Search for a new plug?
C Search for a new wiring harness?

    Help?....

I would search for a new plug and relay. replacing the harness might be overkill. check with Wire My Bike for the connecter

Well, after some checking on wiremybike.com, it appears i need the vfrness kit. So, i just ordered it. It consists of a new plug and upgraded wiring to fix the underlying issue. Thanks again
