I just keep mine on. Too much trouble taking them off, putting them on, taking them off, putting them on, taking them off, putting them on, taking them off, putting them on, taking them off, putting them on, taking them off, putting them on, taking them off, putting them on, taking them off, putting them on... well, I think you get the idea. The wife gets a bit annoyed, though, when they're muddy and get the sheets all messed up. Doesn't bother me, though. The laundry is her job.

I agree and I started it! Actually, GFAR's goofy posts about nothing reminded me of Seinfeld and that reminded me of the episode when Seinfeld and Castanza got in an argument over whether it was better to put on both socks before the shoes or one sock and one shoe. One said one sock and one shoe was better because if there was a sudden fire you could hop out of the buiding on one fully clothed foot; the other said both socks because then both feet would be warm when you made it outside of the building...hence the boot question. And here I am on a perfectly good Saturday explaining this lunacy...

    CURSE YOU, GFAR!!!!!!!!

As I am in EMS, I set my boots on the floor next to my bed with my pant legs scrunched down around them. When the bell goes off, I swing my legs over the bed, stuff my feet in my boots at the same time, zip them up, and then pull up my pants.

    Ready to roll in seconds.

Boots? Are those the big black shoes I see some riders wearing? Dunno about that, but I put my flip-flops on the same way before every ride - left 1st, then right.
