    Hiya gang,

I finally had some time to get these new tires on my Gen5 and take a short hop to try them out. I bought them at my local Cycle Gear (St Pete Florida) and the total out the door price, mounting, tax was 206 and change. Great price.

    Fronts 120-70-17, Rears 180-55-17.

I was impressed with the feeling they gave me. I only rode for 15 miles and took a few turns, and I think that they are really grippy. Of course, I know they're not race tires, but they are terrific as far as I'm concerned. They cant be beat for the price!

I give them a 5/5 overall and think anyone would like them.

(the sound of two cents plopping is heard)

    nice and congrats
most folks would not even look at shinko's cause they will say they are a cheap tire.

I ran 003's when made by yokohama and they are a great tire and from looking at cheater slick tread pattern you would think they suck in the rain , I must say they do well in the rain also.

Down here in the Tampa Bay area we get good weather most of the time. There is some rain, but as everyone knows, we're known for our sunshine. Today was a great day for riding, sun and 76 degrees!

I'm not a slave to status, as price + performance is the best equation for me. They can laugh at my Shinkos...and I'll blow by them on their liter bike when I dig on the corners and they're afraid to lean!

And who can beat just a tad over 200 clams???
