Ohhhhh - its like that now, huh? Ya know I coulda passed you at any time, but your ego was getting in my way!

Anyway... Appears my dog is doing much better, so barring any setbacks, I should be there. I'll meet up with you at the McDonalds Dino and anyone else.

Depending when Elwray and I are riding by, we might stop by the McD's. One of my buddies is also coming on his 919(its still a honda). See you all in the AM.

Mmmmm breakfast at McDonalds... though this is kind of counter productive to weight reduction on the bike

Nice little turn out we got so far.

For those of you interested in the weather: Looks like some fog early morning, then cloudy, then clear by noon. Supposed to be mid to low 60's. Should be on its way to being real nice by the time we meet. So even if the weather doesn't look nice in the morning, I'll still be there.

McGriddles??? I'm a fat bastard. That's a heart attack waiting to happen if I eat those.

Sun is shining here. Roads will be all dried up in a hour or 2. I'm leaving soon to take the scenic way to meet up with everyone.

Definitely a good time guys. Was great to meet you PJM, Elwray and 919 (damn, forgot his name!).

PoconoVFR - Once again, my hats off to you for leading the way and being our gracious host. I'm glad to see you got every last mile and dollar out of that tire. Well done!

Not sure where/when you guys (PJM, El, 919) got off Route 80, but what a disaster it was going home. We're traveling along, and I see some lights in my mirror. A few miles later and triple digits reading on the speedo, I start to slow down, glance over, and see some dude on a GSXR with one of those Mohawk helmets. I'm like where the hell did he come from?? Good news is I represented on the VFR - he never passed me, lol. Bad news is the ensuing traffic.

Started lane splitting a bit after exit 12 where traffic was hardly moving. After about 1 or 2 miles, me and DenT turned around. It was going nowhere. Go back to exit 12, take a few roads that I know, get to Rt46, and its just craaaaawwwwwling. Me and DenT were doing 20mph with our bikes off in the shoulder. It was the only was we could move. Come across a LEO, BS with him, turns out theres like a 12-15 mile backup on 80. Me and DenT cruise all over the place, on unknown roads, sun has long gone down, before we finally get to an area I'm familiar with. I think we racked up about 50 to 60 miles to travel 30 miles east.

From the Water Gap, I'm usually 30 minutes to home. Took me about 2 hours, and DenT got home about an hour after that.

    How did you guys do?

Dino - you OK? You make it home? I know you have one helluva hall even from where I exit.

    Traffic blows!

Either way, hell of a good time guys. Be safe, and looking forward to spring.

Thanks for putting that ride together, that was awesome!

I just need to train my clutch hand -- it's on FIRE.

We must have just barely missed that traffic. We went 46 and didn't hit anything. An ambulance passed us at some point but it was heading east so probably something different...

Just finished giving my bike a nice rub down, didn't look too dirty but the cloth was black when I was done.

Today was probably the hardest I have ridden on this bike and I was happy with how it performed, not as much low end as my Z750S but much more comfortable.

I'm just checking out on a website ordering the factory pro shift kit, hopefully that will cure my 2nd to 3rd clunk and make me love this bike even more.

Great riding with you guys and I hope we can do it again in the near future, who knows, maybe we will get one more weekend before the winter fully sets in. Or you guys could MAN up and buy KLR's

Excellent time gents... good to meet everyone.

Pliskin... traffic sucks... you beat me to the summary though. haha was pretty hilarious you and those random guys. I noticed the one guy chilling behind us then i look to my right and his bud with the mowhawk and the studded leather jacket was in the lane next to me. at that point i figured nothing good can come of this. I guess u though they were us and i saw the three of you dissappear out of sight. lol was pretty frickin funny.

Did you buy the Factory Pro shift kit? I put that one on my bike and after three years of use I can say that I never missed a shift. I may buy a new spring just to make it feel like new again becaus eI am sure over time that it lossen up. If you didnt do the install yet then let me know so I can give you a few pointers to make it easier to install....like make sure you own socket type allens to remove the old shift star!
