I do so wish I could make their computers explode, and I do mean explode, in their faces. After all, is it that hard to use proper grammar?

Being a native of the country (shout out to Fotodaddy), I can say that grammar is not what it used to be years ago. Education has taken a backseat to quick and easy money. I use the word easy loosely, as the bullshit scams are full time jobs for a lot of my countrymen, and they work VERY hard at them.

The last time I visited, I was appalled at the incessant grammatical errors in every newspaper I picked up. There is so much emphasis on trying to be '"Americanized," or foreign and cool that folks try to change their accents and use words and slang they can't translate accurately. The basics are now less important than being "international." I find it funny the way folks' accents would change the moment they found out I came from abroad.

Cyborg, don't get bent out of shape over the email. When this style of scam fizzles out, there'll be new and far more ingenuous ones that will be thought up. The key is to mistrust absolutely any and every money-making "offer" or "investment" that is thrown your way, be it by email, tv, or in person until you have thoroughly investigated and researched it.

And you'd think that they would have figured out that "Send Money" and "Nigeria" in the same email is synonymous with "Scam." In fact, almost anything with Nigeria in the message is a scam anymore.

I though they would have figured out how to use other countries by now.

I say you send a message back and have fun with him. Identify yourself as Captain John Luke Picard, and go from there.

Hey guys, this nigerian celebrity made a song about making fun of other countries that they rip off.

It is called "I go chop your dollar."

here is the video. YouTube - Osuofia - I Go Chop Your Dollar

Nigerian scam artists are horrible people. I have seen death threat emails trying to threaten for money. "we have trained assisins that will be called off of you when you send us 30k$" type of bullshit.

Their government is ok with the scams and in on them. and take profit.

They say that we are greedy and deserve to lose it all.

In the first verse they say "for one land this is just a game"

The least they could have done was had hotter chicks in the video.

I hope they all burn in hell.

I googled the lyrics so here they are ( in case you dont watch the video ). It is considered the nigerian scam anthem. When I get the scam emails, I reply " I go chop your dollar" they always replay back "you and me are brothers."

    I Go Chop Your Dollar
I don suffer no be small
    Upon say I get sense
Poverty no good at all, no
Na im make I join this business
419 no be thief, its just a game
    Everybody dey play am
if anybody fall mugu, ha! my brother I go chop am

    Chorus
National Airport na me get am
National Stadium na me build am
    President na my sister brother
You be the mugu, I be the master
Oyinbo I go chop your dollar, I go take your money dissapear
419 is just a game, you are the loser I am the winner
The refinery na me get am,
The contract, na you I go give am
But you go pay me small money make I bring am
you be the mugu, I be the master… na me be the master ooo!!!!

When Oyinbo play wayo, them go say na new style
When country man do im own, them go de shout bring am, kill am, die!
Oyinbo people greedy, I say them greedy
I don see them tire thats why when them fall enter my trap o!
    I dey show them fire
