    If you're texting while riding in the rain, slow down a bit. If you're simply talking on your cell phone, there's no need to observe any additional caution while riding in the rain. In other words, just use common sense like most cagers.

    I go close to the same speed or a ~10% slower than usual in the rain, but I also hunker down and try to streamline a bit. If I've made the mistake of leaving my rain suit and rain gloves at home, I find usually only my elbows and knees get very wet.
