I have a 96 vfr750f and its in need of fairings anyway so i wanted to modify some brackets or whatever is required to make the 5th gen fairings, headlight, seat ,gauges etc to work. ive looked at both bikes and alot of the 5th gen parts look to be straight bolt up with little or no modification save for mabey the front fairing/headlight and gauges support that bolts to the frame by the tripple tree. has anyone atempted this that can offer some insight or advice? Thanks.

Why would you want the horrible huge ugly 5th gen on the once perfect bike?

Probably for the same reasons that someone would shoehorn a hideous, cbr600 underseat exhaust onto a 4g.

I think it would be more like adding a red screen to a white bike.
