Nope. There is a lock on my shield. If I find that my shield is doing that on a particular day... I use the lock.

At my age, going to see the doctor after wrenching your neck to look behind you on the highway is annoying. I use the mirrors. You can use duct tape.

My Nolan has a very nice lock and the Suomy is very hard to raise?
I get the problem in the midwest with cross winds raising my shield at times.

I had that same problem with my faceshield. I got some superglue from the dollar store put the helmet on and had my wife glue the shield down. The shield never flips up in the wind or in the shower or in bed or when I play with my dog.

I've never had a shield fly open on its own on the 2 HJCs I own, with or without the shield lock (which I never use) even when my head is turned.

I never turn my head.........I saw them when I passed them, so theyre behind me now, no need to look back, they are part of my past.
