Sargent Welt with 2007 Candy Red

I know there are other posts along this line but I didn't see anything for a 2007 Candy Red.

What color welt to choose?

The red is out, not candy.
Black seems conservative.
Does the silver stay clean over time? How does it look on the bike? A picture would be great if anyone has this combo.

BTW Getting close to finishing my 1st 1000 miles on the bike, the honeymoon is still going strong. Did my 1st unintended wheelie the other day, 1st bike in 20 years of riding that could lift the front wheel.

 

I went with the black. It is a bit conservative, but it looks more finished than stock..

 

I have a yellow 1999 with the Sargent seat with the yellow welt - looks awesome and yes, it stays clean all the time.

 

I have silver piping(VFR's Silver)..... but, as far as staying clean, there won't be any problem, as long as you wipe it down with some type of fabric cleaner/protectant.... Hope someone comes up with a pic on a red bike for you....

 

Just to be safe, I went with black welt on my Sargent when I ordered mine. All is good.

 

I have the sargent with silver piping on my '05 Red. IT looks like it was made for the bike!
