I suppose it would be, but that would be a one time cost I could save up for. contacts only last for a week at a time.

I have to use daily wear disposable lens and while expensive, are worth it in terms of quality and field of vision.

PS: I wear Oakley M-frames which fit in my Shoei RF1100 like they were purpose-designed..

Basically it all comes down to personal preference, since a Rx face shield is impractical as explained earlier. I prefer contact lenses, I can deal with glasses but I don't like to wear them too much. But, for something so important as seeing clearly, just like with protective gear, money should not be an object in this subject.

Maybe I'll look in contact lenses. I just don't like the idea of the hassle of putting them in, removing them, making sure I got a new batch, losing one, getting one stuck behind the eye, etc. But maybe it's not as bad as I think it would be.

I think what i might do is create a way to mount my glasses to my bike. only use them for riding, putting them on and off will simply be part of my routine for getting on and off my bike.

might not notice the nascence if im not wearing them all the time.

iv been using bolle sunglass frames from costco with prescription lens. they fit way better with helmet then regular glasses i dont really notice there on. did have the option of using safety lens. i may order another pair with clear lens for those non sunny rides. i find my regular glass are annoying after a while and dont really fit right with helmet.
