I posted a while back when I was thinking about getting a VFR, but the bike sold before I got it: http://vfrworld.com/forums/third-fo...1997/22243-considering-buying-93-vfr750f.html

I ended up buying a '93 Katana 600. It's a bit rough, but it's a great bike, even took a 6000 mile trip (link) to Canada on that bike.

Last Friday I came across an ad for a '95 VFR750F for $2300 and jumped on it. I just picked up the bike last night. It's very clean, little under 16K miles and looks to be in great shape and well taken care of. As much as I like my Kat, I think this bike is going to replace it.

Congrats on your VFR, Paul! Damn, that bike looks good. Bet it sounds amazing with the TB CF can on there, too.

If I found a deal like that I wouldn't think twice about it.

Congrats and welcome. I have one just like it. I ride my 02 a lot more, but that's a solid bike. You'll love it.

It's cold, but I intend to ride through the winter as long as the roads are free of ice.

Suspension seems soft like on the Katana (in particular, it dives easy). Aside from heavier springs, is there anything that can be adjusted here?

Nice ride; sounds like a good deal!!! I miss my '94.
For suspension, one inexpensive mod that I believe works on a 4th gen is a 929 rear shock.
