    Hey,

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Matt and I owned a 1985 VF700F with the red primary color paint job. It had Kerker slip-ons, LED front and rear turn signals, projector style headlight, and the rear fender mod (10 minutes with a sawzall ). I sold it to my father after a year and a half as it was my first bike and I was riding it way too fast. I now own a 86 Kawasaki Ninja 250R that has pod filters, jet kit, slip-ons, rear fender mod, LED turn signals, metal-flake paint, a handful of other stuff, and 2,000 miles .

Unfortunately I have no pics of the 700 with mods, here it is stock:

Here's a picture of the Ninja:

My plan now is to get a 98-01 (whatever gen that is) body style interceptor 800 as I think it looks the best of all of them--besides the 2010. If I don't get the 800 next year then I'll be looking into the 1200 in a few years.

Pleased to meet you all

Hey welcome Matt. The 5th gen 98-01 is a great bike you'll love it. There are a lot of 5th gen dudes who can help you out with your pre purchase plans I'm sure.

^^Almost ;) they were Kerker's. A little quiet for my taste so I yanked out the glass packing. If you leave the pucks in the ends they are relatively quiet still and if you take them out it sounds like a Harley :D I miss it already.

    I'm in NH, Concord area.
