To those of you who ride...

I ride with a small, close knit group of folks. We lost one of our own last night due to unfortunate accident. No matter who you are or what you ride...be safe people, be safe.

 

A Major feeling of loss here, So sad. Prayers sent to all those he touched. Whew! All to well do I know the feelings here, Gods speed.

I have lost several over the years and it is very hard on the mind when it happens. Easy for me to say as it was for others to me at the time , but it will get better in time.Still think about it alot,even just today, never really get over it but it does help keep me safe.I am truely sorry.

 

So true. All those I have lost over the years pop into my mind often, bringing a deep sadness.

I have lost more than one of my friends to bikes. I still ride, its what I enjoy and what they did before their time came. Unfortunate none the less, I am greatly sad for your loss but understand that there are far worse ways to pass other than doing what you most enjoy. My sincere sorrow for the loss of your friend and prayers for his/her family are in my heart

Sorry to hear about your friend's death, vfrf2. Motorcycling is indeed a risky activity. We all know and accept the risks because we love it.

 

Thanks guys. He was only 20...just got his license back in April. Rode with him a couple of times...and he was a responsible rider. I was a bit of a squid at that age.

 

sorry to hear about your loss i myself have lost several friends, it rough and it hurts even more to watch other friends doing the dumbest shit, we take life for granted you never know it could be our last ride every time we go out i will pray for you and his family what is his name?

 

Very sad. I am sorry to hear; please accept my condolences. I lost a friend to a bicycle accident (drunk driver) just before he turned 20. It is especially sad when a bright, young lad is taken too early.
Celebrate his life however you can. Keep him in your heart.
