    Hey all,

Wanted to pop in and say hi. Put a deposit down on a Silver 2003 Interceptor yesterday, picking it up tomorrow.

It's got a Micron slip on exhaust (on backwards though, I think -- shouldn't they point out, not in?).

Bike is in desperate need of a new chain/sprockets; just ordered this:
    D.I.D. 530VM Chain & Steel Sprocket Kit - HONDA VFR 800F 02-09 - Sprocket Center

They're very helpful on the phone over there at Sprocket Center!

Anyways, I'm from central NJ around Englishtown/Raceway Park.

I've currently got a 2007 VTX 1300 C and a 2009 WRX wagon. Looking forward to chatting with you all and maybe getting together for some rides! There's still plenty of riding season ahead of us

Welcome aboard. I spent the better part of the summer of 91 at Raceway Park in Englishtown.

Is that Extreme Machines in Millstone? I send lots of business their way.

    KC-10 FE out...

    Yep, on 33 in Millstone.

Just added the VFR to the insurance an hour ago.

All set to pick her up tomorrow!

Congratulations and welcome to the forum, elwray. I'm in North Jersey myself, probably about 45 minutes from Millstone, give or take.

Maybe we can hook up for a ride someday. There's a few others on this forum in your neck of the woods.

(And I agree, the exhaust appears to be on backwards).

Picking it up this afternoon, I'll snap some more pics once I get her home.

Once everything is all tuned up, I'll be ready to ride with you guys!

exhaust looks right, otherwise it wouldn't say Micron on it. That would be to the inside.

    beyond that, welcome!

I mean backwards as in, rotated 180 degrees and switched sides, so the label would be on the outside and facing upright, instead of upside down like it is now.

Congrats on your VFR and welcome to the forum!

Looks like maybe the previous owner wanted the exhaust tips to point inward instead of directly backward, parallel to the ground. I think you're wise to correct them.

BTW, I'm green with envy on your WRX wagon.

Well, the old rusty chain survived the trip home!

Rides nice and smooth. I'm getting very excited to have her back up in good condition again. She just needs some TLC.

I actually don't hate the way it looks with the tips pointed inward, but the upside down tags ruin it for me. Might take them off anyway though, they aren't very loud.
