There's a 75mm circlip on the gen 5 that holds the hub to the rear caliper bracket.

My rinky dink circlip plier was decent enough to get it off with some swearing.

However, getting a new on may be a different story.

Anyone have any advice on a good heavy duty one that I could use for this circlip and also for others?

Go to a good auto parts store and buy a good pair, but if you can go to any mechanic shop and find out when the Snap-On guy comes around those will last you a lifetime. Then there is Sears of coarse.

I bought a big pair just for that one ring. Worth it for me as I have two bikes and a friends that all have the big snap-ring. About $15. Look for one where you can change the pivot to handle both inside and outside retaining rings.
