powder coated headers?

Has anyone powder coated their headers? I HATE the look of that damn cat/converter and the stock finish. I would love to get rid of it (cat) but as far as I know, no one offers a complete header without it. Any suggestions?

Don't do it. Header temperature is above the melt temperature of powder coat. The powder coating will melt off, and you'll have a nasty mess.

Need to use a ceramic coating like Jet Hot; anything else will be a mess
