What brand of Service Manuals is everyone using and what brand would you recommend?

I have a Haynes, my brother in law has a Clymer. Both seem very good.

    Really?
I'm in the market for a manual for my 98 and I was steering towards the factory shop manual but I have yet to find one on E-bay. I have tried the Haynes manuals for my cars but they seemed a little weak and so I generally try to get a factory manual. The Haynes manuals are not expensive so if you say that they are good for the VFR, I will give one a try.

    Repair manual

I use the Honda service manual and it seems pretty decent to me. I haven't undertaken any in depth repairs or anything yet.

I just got my Honda manual and it is really excellent! They have great detailed pictures and drawings as well as troubleshooting for the PGM FI. I'm impressed for $20.

    Only one way to go...

I also just picked up the Honda manual for my 2000. I really think they did an excellent job with it. Right down to the the stock part numbers and alternatives.

I've got the Haynes, been happy with it. Used it for a few major jobs, and seems pretty accurate. I also downloaded the Honda manual from VFR Discussion link. Haven't used that yot though.

I found the 90-96 Honda service manual downloadable for free here:

    http://www.psytronix.org/honda/manuals/BIKES/Honda_VFR750F_90-96_Repair_Manual.pdf
(Dialup users beware, 12MB PDF file)

I have a paper copy of the Clymer manual and it is very good. I just need to find someone that can fax or email me the last 30 pages. The book has some road rash as it fell out of my backpack one day while riding on the freeway. Can anybody help with that?

I've always found Clymer really thorough and Haynes a little lacking.
