Are you sure the fuel pump is ok? It may make noise, but may not be pumping enough fuel. Pull the outlet line off and check; you should be able to feel slight pressure/pulsing, but it should settle down and stop if you block the flow. Also check to see if there is fuel in carb bowls. It sure sounds like the bikes running out of gas.

Check the diaphragms in the carbs - pin holes are enough to allow bike to run at idle but not take fuel as the slides won't open to allow more fuel. Just another thought.

    Water

Many of us have fallen victim to water in fuel and it is what comes to mind first.Drain a bowl and look very carefully for water or rust. Only takes a little. Filled up at a Shell once and pumped rust water into my bike and paid good money to do it.

Ok checked carbs..carb 3s diaphram is not moving...moved that diaphram to a carb that was working and the good one to the bad carb..neither would work then...so either there is a suction problem plus a hole in the diaphram or something else...really do not wanna take the bike to a shop but I am running out of things I know how to do...so in the manual there seems to be like maybe 3 lines that could have holes in them also that could b causing it? Anything else I need to look for?

you oughta be able to see a hole if it's there....

check the main filter and small filters located above the float needle seats.

If there's a hole in one of the diaphrams you can see it if you hold it up to a light. Make sure you put them back in without pinching at the edge. If you have a piece of vacume line put it on one carb bowl drain at a time (not with engine running) and drain them all... they should all have about the same amount of fuel in each bowl. Any rust or water? Close the drains, unplug the fuel pump and use jumper wires direct to the battery, (blue goes to positive) the pump should run then slow down. Try to start the engine, just leave the pump hooked to the batt.

so the whole diaphram or will the top of it have the hole or can the shaft of it where it goes into the carb have a hole....and i looked over it and i didnt see a hole...when u put it in the other carb it doesnt work...and i took the one out of the good carb and put it the bad one and it didnt work...so im thinking its something else is there like a pic of what hoses would cause the vaccum so i can check those and i wouldnt just be on a wild goose chase

Do all the bowls have fuel? I don't think the slides will move if those cylinders are not running (not enough fuel in the carb bowls).

not quite correct captb, intake vaccum lifts slides, so they should lift as long as some cylinders are providing power to turn engine.

I never had the chance to test that, I had crap in the pilots many times but every cyl ran and cv pistons worked above idle.
