Who writes this stuff for Honda - "custom tailored for experienced hands who ride hard, ride long, ride far and ride often", "unparalleled freedom through innovative technology", "unrivaled air management"? What a load of crap!

It also only has a 4.9 Gallon tank. It better get seriously good fuel mileage (doubtfull at that weight) or it will be useless as a real sports tourer. Also, why no damping control on the forks!!!!! Other than that I rather like it.

Where are all the "you just need better shifting technique" and "slipper clutches are for race bikes and not street bikes" mensa members now?

    I'm confused.

    What are they aiming for?

It's down on power and up on weight to the K1300, Busa and ZX14.

It's down on fuel range and possibly passenger accomodations to the fjr, st, connie, and k13gt. It also doesn't appear to have standard luggage.

I'd be willing to bet the price will start somewhere north of 13, possibly real close to 14.

I don't understand what they were trying to accomplish. Usually when you come last to the party you raise the bar. At the very least your are competitive. The Blackbird has 17 less hp than this bike, equal torque, and weighs 90 pounds less.

I just can't figure out who's going to buy it. I like sport tourers that lean more toury and yet I can think of two choices I'd take over it. And if I wanted a big comfy bike that hauls ass I can think of 2 choices I'd rather have.

They literally took the poor things from all bikes and put them together. "Let's make a hyper bike that's got almost enough power, but lets make it heavier and give it a shaft drive and then put a smaller tank than the 800 and less passenger accomodations than most st's and lets see if it sells."

    WTF
