tire tread?

Does anyone know why the tread patterns seem to be opposite from front to rear tires? The rear makes sense to me by sheding water to the outside but the front seems as if it would increase water pressure to the center of the tire. I am sure there is a logical reason for this but I just cant seem to figure it out... HELP!! before it drives me nuts!!!

 

Try looking at what it's doing while you are applying the front brake......

 

I thought of this but it still does not make sence... the tire is still traveling in the same direction braking or not and the grooves are directing the water to the center of the front tire.

 

AHHHHH! it is not to do with braking... it is the lean angle. When the bike is listed over that is the best path to evacuate the water. Now it makes sence. I wish I could have figured this out an hour ago before I posted this LOL
