I have been looking at the honda ST 1300 but then I realized the weight was 750lbs. I then noticed the VFR and appreciated the V4 forward mounted and over 200lbs weight savings. I searched for handle bar risers which brought me to this site and a good discussion on risers and lowering the forks.
I'm 51 years old and want to be in a more upright position. I do not have a VFR yet and only want an 07 or 08. If any trusted members of this forum has suggestions or leads on where to get me a good bike I would appreciate it.
    Cheers: Joe K.

Welcome, Joe. I find my VFR very comfortable. I have the Helibars, am a bit older than you, and at 5'9" not the tallest person in the world. There seem to be some good prices on 2007 models mentioned in some other posts.
