During a night ride about a month ago my bike totally died. No power, no bump start no nothing. its a 2001 VFR so I automatically assume my r/r went dead. I bought another one and checked all my fuses and got my battery checked and everything checked out. Still no crank or power at all. I am assuming its electrical and not wanting to jump to a ecu conclusion. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Richie

check your ground connections to the frame and + to the starter and make sure they are good also

Get some solution and clean all the connectors (One at a time)
Get a meter to check for current is a must. Make a check list what you have done so we can slowly pin point the problem.

Thanks guys, I found I had a short going into the starter connector by the main fuse. I am back at it again.
