VFR. Very Fun Ride/ Very Fast Ride/ Vee Four Revs.. I have been a V4 addict since 1983 when i bought my 83 VF750F and put 23,000 miles on it that year.
My 99VFR feeds my addiction and keeps me sane/balanced so to speak...LOL
The 99 now has a little over 20,000 miles on it as it only had 11,200 when i bought it last october.

So what do you think of your V4 experience?

    What do I like most?

My viffer does whatever I want:cool: . If I want to be mellow its mellow if I want to blast it blasts, if I do something stupid  it forgives me and I love the snarl and rush when the VTEC kicks in. Geez now you have gone and made me want to skip work for the day:smile:.

Keep the rubber on the road.

I love that sound, too. I run a 2bros pipe and custom FI map and my bike spits and snorts like a pissed off gorrila when I'm playing around on it... I like it...

    exhaust pipe growls

I spent a lot of time reading on the net before i bought a pipe for my 2001 vfr800. all my buddies with in-line fours were modifying like crazy, and i couldn't find that much. I got a micron oval high-mount, and i loved it, the sound difference was perfect at idle, not too loud taking off, and i noticed a little bit of power difference...justin

I have a M4 slip on , and it really has great sound at idle and it really sounds good between 7,000---11,000rpm.. I just find it hard to beat the V4 sound , unless you pull up beside a Ducati 916 with a race exhaust.

My dream machine is a Honda V4 , oval pistons, 32 valve, NR750 , But I dont have $60,000 dollars to spend on one..

I stopped beside a 916 a few years back, it sounded like a tractor.

No thanks, I'll keep my VFR.
