VF500 Fairings

I have an 86 interceptor 500, and i have a few broken mounting tabs. I have attempted repairing the front cowl and it seems to be holding up thus far. But, I am wondering if there are any differences in the tail pieces between the 84-85 and 86. I ask this because i have noticed the side covers are different. (vents in the lower black section on 86).

I have searched but haven't found any verified info.

Is the front fairing the same through all the years too? Just in case this fix doesnt last.

 

Fairings should be compatible from 84-86.

 

they are the same just added the vent for a look change between years.

 

okay so that could affect collector plate status. But you figure the the tail cowl is identical? except for colours.

 

I dont think it will change your collector plate status at all
