i am looking for the best commuter for the $$$. i ride 20,000 miles per year just commuting. my present bike does not inspire any extra riding. i am on a gs500f, 2006 with 46,000 miles on it. i hope to find out if the vfr is the right choice for this type of riding.

    cheers

The VFR is a great all around bike! You can tear up the twisties and then easily throw some hard bags on it and then ride across the county. The fact that they can easily last over 100,000 miles when properly maintained is an added bonus. Seems like a no-brainer to me.
