    To replace my wrecked 650R I settled on an 06 VFR/ABS in the fastest color - black :) - and I'm picking it up tomorrow. Got a KILLER deal on it too. 2700 miles and I picked it up for $5800. Will post some pics once I have her home.

    That's a good deal on a low-mileage VFR. Nice!

    Dumb question #1: Do VFR's come with a rear seat cowl (when you buy them new...is it included?)

    Dumb question #2: If not, where do you buy them (online...I am sure I can get one from a dealer).

    pretty sure it's included. if you bought one used without you can get it from any Honda shop - they'll probably have to order it from Honda though, so $$$ and a wait.

    Okay, first negative... Damn stock Metzeler crap tires. 2741 miles when I picked it up. Back tire's meh, front is going to need to be replaced already... I'll probably replace both with Michelin Road Pilot 2s as I've heard of killer mileage and excellent handling.

    You didn't buy her for the tires, did you? Tires are like shoes - you'll replace them so often, it doesn't matter what was on the bike when you bought it.

    White = non-ABS
    Black = ABS

    Good luck with the new Viffer. My wife has a 650r and she's always jumping on my bike and riding it around, you'll love it.

    Damn, you get bikes cheaper in the US! You'd be looking at about 2 grand more in Canada.

    Then again, our health care is free...hee hee! Sorry, couldn't resist! :biggrin:
