Since getting the F2 rear wheel I've been deciding on whether or not I should get new tires and whether or not I should try getting some radials on instead of the Bias-Plys.

I read up a bit on the difference between the two plys and radials sound like they'd be so much better.

If you are changing rims to F2 then go w/ radials just get the correct size for the new rims not over sized.

Really?!? Won't that make the bike handle oddly? With the two different Plys?

Definitely a good move. Try looking at Bridgestone, believe it to be the BT45 if I remember correctly, been awhile, it's a great tire and it comes in that 16" front, yes stick to the stock size for the rim

the first bike i changed from bias plys to radials was an 86 GPz900. it took em no problemo. it made it feel diffferant in the handling department, more like it wanted to fall into corners. so it took a while to mentally reset the brain.

    Aren't the BT45's Bias-Ply?

    I need a 110/90-16 front and a 150/70-17 rear
