I'm Graeme Smith, live in Australia. Have been a big fan of VFR's since the mid 1990's. Currently own a 2008 V-tec (silver) and am in the process of rebuilding a 2002 V-Tec. The rebuild was my previous ride until a car driver decided that she didn't need to give way to a motorcycle rider!! The project is almost complete. All panels have been repaired and repainted matt black. I have also had a number of parts replaced in black or chrome. Have a minor oil leak in front fork (worn chrome and slight bend in tube), once this matter is cleared up the old girl will be back on the road. I need to give the "new" bilke a rest. 32,000km since Oct. 2008. I'll post some photo's of my bikes in a future post (if anyone is interested). I look forward to hearing from other members and hopefully sharing information and experiences.

Thanks Kiwi and Flyn. (hope i got names right, not sure of correct protocol so apologies for any mistakes) IF any of you guys make it to Newcastle, 160km Nth of Sydney, look me up. Hopefully both bikes will be running smoothly and we can take in the sights. The "old girl" has done 230,000km!!! Still as tight as a drum and a pleasure to ride. I am not sure whether to get the fork tubes straightened and re-chromed or buy new ones. I have managed to source a Leo Vince titanium SBK exhaust system which i hope to fit to the "new" bike, it's silver. I'll then fit the old Staintune underseat system to the "old" bike. Unfortunately, i'm still trying to get hold of some brackets and bolts etc for the Leo Vince system. I got it cheap ($200) so can't really complain. I'll let you know how things are going. Smithy.
