about 42 to 45 on my new 07 from first tank. After i installed the power commander it dropped to about 40 but performs much better. Unless you are extremely hard on it, I would try another tank of gas and make sure your math is correct. I don't see why the mileage would be so poor unless you are really thrashing it.
    Cheers

Just out of curiosity, what version of gallons do you all use? When I've gone to do the conversion from kilometres it appears there are two versions of gallons, US and imperial. I'm a bit stumped with my mpg range too, as my tank is supposed to be 22litres. I fill up, ride it until I'm on the red flashing bar, usually get 250km, but when I fill up, it only takes 16 litres, so I think my mpg isn't as bad as I may have though, this would mean I'm getting 36.7mpg (going on the assumption that 1 mile = 1.61 kilometres and 1 gallon = 3.79 litres) My riding has included alot of heavy traffic riding, twisties and hitting v-tec every so often. I'll have to try going for a nice long freeway run and measuring my economy in that scenario.
On a side note I bought a Garmin Zumo 550 for the bike last week, getting a Fuzeblock in and a Powerlet socket.. getting very excited about adding on these little toys!

I am using American gallons. the 3.79 litres to 1 gallon. Having been born and raised in NZ, before the metric revolution, I am also used to imperial gallons.

I consistently ride mine on the freeway and suface streets to and from work. So up to 120 mph, in and out of vtec, and stoplights etc. I'm not particularly hard on it, but that gives me the 40-42 mpg average.
    Cheers

Anyone know how far a Gen 6 will go with the fuel bar flashing? Just got home, bar flashing for the last 40km. Sitting on 120kph doing bang on 5,000 rpm. Checked in the tank and have an eye guesstimate with a torch of maybe a litre remaining now. Just handy for future long highway runs how far I can "limp" home. I currently average about 200 miles per tank which seems ahhhh. . . . average.
