Anyone from NJ,NY or Pa riding this weekend?

exit 56, I know a decent way up there... we can do 287 to skyline and hit the back road through there to 17. then we can run out that 4.3 miles of road thats blocked off to through traffic. I'll get a little route worked up when i get home.

 

No, it was in South River (Joe Theisman's hometown). I believe the name was The Portguguese Fisherman and it was one street over from the main drag. Nothing fancy, but incredibly good authentic food.

Sunday - I'm gonna try to hook up with Bbwong early morning for an early (and somewhat short ride). We were initially planning the PA/Hawks Nest area, but I'm not so sure since I have limited time on Sunday. I just didn't want to blow off Bbwong. Interested?

Oh, don't worry about me! I'm the d!ck for bailing out. I wish I could make it. If you want, we can even just meet half way at a diner and grab breakfast then head home. Or just plan something in a couple of weeks. I'll be in Disney the weekend after this and the following, but weekends after that should be fairly free with school underway again.

That's the place! They had the best Paelha I've ever had, bar none. That was about 25 years ago. Four of us would drink our faces off, eat till we had to loosen our belts, and then take over the bar and serve drinks to customers. They had no idea what to think about us, but they loved it when we stopped by for dinner. Looks like they remodeled and fancied up a bit since then. Wonder if the Paelha is as good as it was back then. Maybe I'll ride up there one day and see for myself. Might spoil the memory, though.

Good ride today guys... I clocked a lil over 150mi.... u central guys im sure have quite a few more.... great to put faces to the names! off to disney world for this guy now...

 

OSB - If I check back later this evening and post, then I'll be in. Have an event I need to attend tonight, and although I was planning on getting out tomorrow, not so sure.

OSB - Sorry about not getting back. Was a late night (early morning), and I had to get my pool closed up today. Hopefully we can try another ride soon. Sure was a great day out though!

Hey guys its was great to meet you guys again for a ride. It was pleasure to show you around Harringman Park and the Bear Mountain area. Maybe DenT will post some of his pictures that he took with his cool cell phone. Mike, I am calling my people to get you stickers for you bike. I will try and post a few pictures on Tuesday when I get them from Dan at work. We need to get together next weekend too! Lest start planning something, maybe we can start earlier too? I am open to suggestions....Hawks Nest? Poconos? Catskills?
