Hi, I've acquired my 2000 vfr but the stock seat is so slippery that it's dangerous! Reminds me of that old kawa 500 2 stroke triple with the seat that was totally smooth.. but that's another (scary) story..

So, I've reviewed many postings re: the sargent and corbin and I'd say that the sargent world sport seat makes the best sense BUT I've yet to read about anyone who has used it at a track day! I do not spend a lot of time planted in one place on a seat and wonder if the welt gets worn down or hangs up during turn transitions or not.

    Thanks for any input,

    Love this vfr!
    Scott

I think the stocker would be best for pure track days, the Sargent keeps you semi planted.

I'd prob say the stock also for track. The sargent seems to hold me into the seat. I have been working on moving around more on it, but it takes more effort than stock I think to move.

Just wanted to throw in my .02. I have a Corbin and it REALLY holds you in there, so don't go that route for a track bike. I would say stock also.
