does anybody own a white '06, and what are your thoughts regarding this colour compared to the black offered for '06.
Personally, I really, really wanted to like the white, but was disappointed when I saw it in person and bought the black instead. I think what bugged me the most were the red Honda graphics on the tank...just my opinion, not to insult anyone who has the white. There are a few pics on this site I've seen that make the white look pretty cool though, the metal flake in both colors make them look differently in the sun. To each their own, I'm sure someone will post soon how much they love the white and hate the black.
I have the white and after having it for a while I wish I had waited for the '07 paint. It's just too much white. I'm looking for a good design to have painted on the sides to break it up.
I had an 86 that was all white metallic pearl, but it had the gold lettering and white wheels too (ugh cleaning nightmare). I got many comments and people thought I had painted it, with looks of surprise when I told them it was a stock color. :biggrin: I like the new ones as the paint is similar and has an unmatched glisten in the sun...bling bling baby. I think the asphalt ones from a year or so ago are pretty trick, but I've never seen one on the street.
I love the storm trooper white of the 06 model. If you want to break up the expanse of white spring for a large red Honda wing graphic to match the Tank. It looks stunning like that. keith.

I have the white 06 and the color is the reason I finally bought a 6th gen. When I seen the white one I just had to buy it. I think the black is ok, but not for me.
I love my white 06!! I didn't want white at first, but after noticing that there really aren't any white bikes out there ( and I love being different) I had to go white. And after seeing the black in person a couple of times I decided the metal flake looked a little to flashy on the black, but just right on the white. I wouldn't say that I hate the black, just don't like it as much as the white. It'll be up to you in the end, but I get lots of compliments on the white! "Man thaaat shurr is purrte"
