    Hi,

I put my first post here before finding this presentation post
    http://vfrworld.com/forums/mechanics-garage/25922-new-owner-questions-about-mech.html#post203238

I am French, I live in Mexico and I am about to start a 3 weeks road trip on a VFR I should buy in a few hours...

I have been riding for about 4 years
    My previous bikes:
    - Yamaha SR 125cc
    - Kawasaki W 650
    - Yamaha 600 Fazer
    - Suzuki 600 bandit
    - Triumph Daytona 900

    currently, I ride a KLR650 with a bent front:biggrin: and hope that I will be seatting on a 98 VFR 800 tonight.

I am leaving this saturday with a friend for a road trip that will take us from Mexico city to phoenix, grand canyon, las Vegas, death valley, yosemite, SF, LA, Baja california and back to mexico.
3 weeks, something like 10000 KM, so wish me luck!

    See you on the road

Sounds like a fun trip. I recommend seeing Bryce Canyon and Zion if you get a chance. I saw those places via VFR 10 years ago. Great scenery and great riding. Have fun.

'98? If you can check the R/R! They were worst on '98s.

    Good luck!
