You have won most of the battle.
The hardest thing for an engine to do is idle.
If it idles and revs up cleanly, and when you turn the front wheel lock to lock the idle does not increase or hang up you're good.

After a few rides if you wanted to - you could wait until it cools down and remove the spark plugs and check the color just to see if they all look consistent which means they are all running well.

Considering some of your posts you may want to have a good bike mechanic check the idle for you .
DO NOT just let anyone mess around with them. They could be adjusting the mixture and think it is the idle. If you paid to get them rebuilt by someone that knew what they were doing, then don't let anyone mess up what you have so far.

i just rode around the block, seemed to idle and rev ok all the way around. didn't check it with the wheel turned fully, will do that tomorrow. don't dare ride to much - as i need new tires and i should probably register it :p more so the tires.

i dunno about pulling the plugs - that looked difficult with the carbs off, looks very difficult with it all assembled, lol

I was pleased to see this post was moto related. From the title, I thought it was a misdirected question that was meant for the "Virgins on Their Honeymoon" forum.
