Hey I am thinking of buying the laminar lip. Anyone using it, and is it a good product?

I have one, probably one of the first models for the vtec. I really didn't care for the looks of it. I then tried the ZG dubble bubble before eventually going back to stock and liking it. Sure was an expensive experiment!

i have the Laminar touring lip. bought it for a San Antonio-Yellowstone round trip this past july.was first big ride since '03 trip to Grand Canyon and I wasn't sure how much of a difference it really made. did get a little helmet shake(more like a vibration)with my shoei shield slightly open at highway speeds. got back home to ohio and went for a short ride without the lip. then i felt the difference. really cuts most all the wind and turbulence from your forehead down. I'm about '6 but i slouch. i really feel it saved me from a lot of wear, tear and wind abuse on the 3800 mile 10 day ride. functionally its sweet! visually...well... i'll put it back on for the next trip to the great northwest. i think it looks as good as a taller windshield can.

Haven't tried the touring windscreen yet, but I did switch from the OEM to a double bubble. It doesn't offer the protection a laminar lip would, but it does reduce buffeting a lot compared to the OEM when sitting upright. Plus it looks damn sexy. I picked mine up directly from Zero Gravity since their manufacturing plant is right by my place in SoCal. They have a discount online store too, http://zgoutlet.com/ Kind of low tech, but it gets the job done.
