    Hello there, have just joined the forum. My 50th birthday is coming up in February and I'm dreaming of a nice VFR (vintage circa 1996) in the garage to mark the occasion.Have been away from bikes for 22 years. Just working on the "other half" at the moment- wish me well!!

    Paul..... Welcome to the group.... It's a GRAND place, it is..... Glad to hear you're getting back into riding, and the VFR is a GRAND bike as well........ My last name is "Athy", That wee town a few miles North West of you..Was as far back as I could track us our family.They were there in the 1300's to the 1600's.
    I've been riding since 1965(street), I'm 64, retired. Now I just ride, think I've always known why dogs stick their heads out of car windows....

    ........tainted actually. X-wife's father was Irish......
