After years of riding everything from Vstars, Roadstars, CBR's, SV's, and Ninja's, I finally realized I need a VFR and found a heck of a deal on a 2004. She's the asphalt variety  and only has 4k miles on her. I'm loving it so far and believe I finally found the bike to keep.

Welcome aboard sir! How do you find the VFR's power output compared to some of the sportier bikes you've owned in the past? Are you dissapointed a little bit or do you think the power is adequate for your needs?

    Regards,
    Rollin

For me, I think the VFR is a great all around bike. The low end reminds me of my SV1000S - lots of low end torque/grunt, then the VTEC side reminds me of the high winding CBR's/Ninja's. Obviously, the VFR is heavier then the "sports", but its also hard to ride them all afternoon without alot of stops/breaks.

I'm lucky in that I live at the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains and approx. 20mins from Deals Gap aka Tail of the Dragon, so I have all types of roads around me to test the VFR....

Rollin, I'd love to have your '93.....know of any nice examples for sale preferably in the Southeast? That is my all time favorite VFR and I'd love to own one.
