    Neuro, I need to know...think they have white? (guess I could just call - is that the place on Terry Fox?)...that's a sweet looking noggin' locker fo sho.

    Kanata Honda

    Thanks. I'm going to try the Kanata dealership shortly. I just bought oil and filter from the dealer on Laser and Hunt Club and looked at the last price when I got home - prices are going up much faster than they should. :mad:

    I had tried on a bunch of helmets at quite a few different dealers over the winter before deciding on an Axis Yellow RF-1000 from BikeBandit. Got it when the $C was strong.

    Not sure - I only checked in XL, they had silver and anthracite. Seems to be a decent stack of boxes there though for the other sizes, so it depends what you want! Also a bunch of Arais.

    The RF-1000 is a great helmet though - I tried on the TZ-R, a few Arais, Scorpion EXO-700, but within about 2 seconds of putting the 1000 on I knew it was a good fit. Wind noise is much reduced as compared to my Icon as well, and the vents work so much better, I can feel my hair moving around.

    I am pretty new to the vfr scene in Ottawa...I'm in the east end (Orleans). Hope to meet up with some of you in spring 2010. Any other guys in their mid 40's around Ottawa area?

    I'm a 45 year old father of 4 here.
    Her hotness (my wife) also rides, even though it's a Ninja not a VFR but we like to power around on weekends.
    What's the deal with you? Lots of riding experience? Your first VFR?

    I'm 44 as well, live in Kemptville and am the proud new owner of a nice red 2002 which is my fifth VFR not including the 1980's models. Looking forward to exploring the local roads and meeting y'all!

    Oh yes, two girls, 11 and 15 and of course a lovely wifey of 18 years that loves to ride on the back especially if there is icecream or coffee waiting at the other end of the journey!
