Gen 1 Supertrapp Question

So Ive got a 83 750 that is currently undergoing major surgery so Ive been spending a lot of my time here thinking about riding since i cant right now and I noticed that a lot of people have Supertrapps on their early Vf's.
What have you guys found to be a good amount of baffles?

I like way the bike sounds when its less restricted so ive played with mine a bit but I dont want to reduce the backpressure too much and cause more damage

 

i had an ole hurricane600 with super trap 20 disks open end cap 120 mains raised needle .. more disks leaner open endcap is the way to go..stock main was 105 that bike was fast...for its time

 

Ok, im still learning on the way the internals of everything works, so did that compensate for having basically zero backpressure by just increasing to a huge degree the amount of gas being pushed in?
So instead of worrying about the proper amount of back pressure i should be more worried about the proper amount of fuel?
