Just purchased a 1986 Honda VFR700F2 that had been dropped on the right side. Have done all repairs and repainted...waiting on Decals and new fairing screws now. I do have a question....The exhaust is still in good condition. However, the right side shows road rash big time. Is there a way, short of replacement, to COVER the exhaust???? Does anyone know of a way I can HIDE the road rash??? Thanks, Dean

    BTW...glad to be here!

Hi Dean. Welcome to the group. The only way I know of to hide rash is to smooth out the damage and then paint over it. Someone else may know of a better way, though.

well it depends on where the road rash is. i took a piece of aluminum and rolled it to fit over my muffler. drilled and rivited it to it from the back side. you can't tell that it was done unless you look real good. if you go to my photo gallary you can see what it looks like.
