Hello fellow VFR lovers, I am a new VFR rider. I rode for a short while when I was younger (84 Kawasaki 440), however, I put riding away until my kids grew up. Two years ago I purchased a Suzuki S40, I thought I was being brave because it was a 650. Little did I realize I would out-grow that bike in short order. In Sept. 2008 I bought a Suzuki S83, I thought a 1400 would do me forever. I was sure I was a cruiser girl until one hot, spring Friday night on the VFR. I am TOTALLY in love. I ride the VFR whenever I get a spare minute....I realize if this keeps up I'll need to learn how to take very good care of her so she lasts. I'm glad to have found this site and will probably spend more time here come winter. Cheers, Iris

Welcome! I lived in Calgary from 88 - 96 and did a lot of riding while I was out there. Gotta love the ride through Bragg Creek and into Kananaskis. That was one of my favourites short "get-aways" when I needed to clear my head from the real world. Glad you are here!
