Not sure if Corbin ever made seats for the VF500F,but I know for sure that they made them for the 1st gen. VF700F because I had one on my old '84. I bought it used at a local cycle salvage shop. It was in much better shape than the seat you posted Slowbird, but colorwise it was exactly the same, black riders perch with a white passenger pillion if that helps you.

For the price....plus shipping it IS a bit much.

Especially considering I'd have to get it reupholstered.

I'm in contact with the seller and asking questions.

Picked this up for my 750 for a hundred and a half.

Corbin is here in Ca. and wanted Four hundred and change to build a Gunfighter and Lady (with removable back rest). They will rework a seat of theirs for just under two hundred.

Mike Corbin was upholstering seats when Britney Spears was crapping her diaper. They used to do custom seats. Mid 80's and that stopped so far as I know. I inquired about having a BMW seatpan being recovered. "Sorry Gringo. we don do no steenking seatpans!"

For just a seatcover and new foam, try a good auto shop.

Figure if some guy can do a car he can sure do a bike seat.
