My son just bought a 99 VFR last week and I have been looking around trying to find some information on his bike. I found this place and it has a boat load of stuff for VFR owners. I owned a 95 VFR a number of years ago and believe that they are great bikes. When I saw a 99 with 13K for 3,500 dollars I told my son that we should go and see what it looked like. The bike was in really good condition and had a Corbin seat with a Smuggler tail section. Great tires and when I took it for a ride it ran great except that it seemed to turn like a truck. I told my son that the tires were probably low and when we put a gage on them they were 24front and 26rear. No wonder it handled so bad. Well, I will move on now. Got to look around to see what mods we will have to have on his bike. I am a modiholic too.
