Speedo question

Hey, hooking up a new speedo in my bike, 2005 VFR non abs, and I have the small plug with the two wires, that I believe it is for the outside temp. does every 05 vfr come with this option? If so where can I locate this plug? I cant seem to find where it plugs into, thanks for your time!

 

That would be correct. The temperature sensor is on the bottom of the front fairing right in the center. If you look underneath the front fairing you will see a small round piece sticking out the fairing about 3/8" in diameter. If you feel right above it you will find the connector for the temperature sensor.

 

And to answer your question, all 6th gens (02-09) come with the temperature sensor as standard.

 

have been looking for a while and I honestly dont think there is one on my bike, is it something that you could take a pic of on your bike? I think someone must of taken mine before I got the bike. Let me know, if not I will start searching for one. Thanks!
