Welcome Niki! Glad you found us. If you have not rode or ever had any traing in a long time I recommend a motorcycle course to hone your skills.

Here is a site for your state with information if you dont already know about it:
Florida Motorcycle Training and Education - Motorcycle Courses

Ride safe and at your own speed, never try to follow a faster rider just to keep up, wear all your gear including your helmet - ALWAYS. See you around! Brian

Thank you very much! I have taken that course bout three months ago. Im trying to find a way to lower the bike cause im on my tippy toes and dont have very good balance. Not sure what I should do. I can either buy lowering links, but are hard to find or I can buy a different seat but not real sure which would be the better option. Do you have any advice on this subject. Thanks so much for any help that you give!!!

Niki, here is a thread about lowering the bike :

    http://vfrworld.com/forums/modifications/1207-lowering-link-vfr800-3.html

Alot of people have used the stock lower shock bracket and rotated it so it lowers the bike. Others have installed Sargent seats that will also lower you towards the ground while some have evened lowered the front by raising the forks up the triples about 10 mm. Check out the thread and see what works best for you.
