I haven't seen too many ride reports this year so I thought I'd submit one. Did a little ride yesterday, so I thought I would put up some pics and a little commentary on how the day went.

The first thing was to pull over and do the final adjustment of my shift lever height. This is the entrance to Wright Ranch, off of Chalk Hill Road in Sonoma County.

This is the entrance to the Langtry Estate and Vineyard off of Butt's Canyon Road. It must be nice to be one of the Langtry's.....

This is the view, looking west from the top of Hopland Grade....90+ degrees and the coast is just over that far mountain range....

Hopland grade is all about the corners....the coast is only a couple hours away...

This is the bridge on the Manchester - Pt. Arena Cutoff...It's a little goaty in spots, but still a nice technical ride with few cars.

Finally the Northern California coast, temps in the low 70's. This shot is just above Manchester a mile or so east of Highway 1.

A really nice day at the coast, the colors of the Pacific were pretty vivid today.

These are some massive redwoods on Skagg's Springs Road just east of Stewarts Point.

This part of Skagg's is really goaty but the good stuff is only a few miles away.

Overall it was a great day to get out, 250 miles total, the weather was great and the machine ran flawlessly. Good times. The photo's are kind of poor, but you get what you pay for in a camera...LOL.

Beautiful pics! Beautiful state! Induces envy. (I hope to God the Chinese don't buy it, lumber it out, mine the hell out of it, and ruin everything.)
