Well then--howdy all! I have previously owned an 86 750F, a 92 750F and my last was the first generation 2000 VFR800. I am as fickle as most nutty vfr owners and have owned varied and sundry machines of just about every manufacturer. I have been in the motosickle industry now for almost 12 years and now reside in Baton Rouge, La as the Sales and F&I manager of a 25 year factory authorized BMW dealer (used to carry Ducati, Triumph and Moto Guzzi as well): Hebert Cycles (hebertcycles.com). We also trade in anything interesting, curious, european or just plain nifty. Last three machines personally owned are an Aprilia RSV Mille, Aprilia Falco and now a Ducati M900S with (whoah nelly!!!) EXTENSIVE modifications. However, (go ahead and despise me now and get it over with) I have the distinct priviledge of being able to demo any of the current line-up of 2006-2007 BMW machines. I am going to a local bike night tonight on a 163 HP, absolutely staggeringly cool & fun 2006 BMW K1200R. What brings me back into the fold is the new 07 retro paint scheme has brought back a lust I thought I had lost for my dearly departed Interceptor since the loss of gear-driven cams and the introduction of V-TEC (which , by the way, is not truly a V-TEC system--but since Honda owns the technology they can badge their machines however they wish). I AM going to purchase a 07 in that paint scheme,V-TEC or not!! Just want to be in tune with the knowledgeable enthusiasts out there and gain your feedback on the day to day with the newly revised rpm transition for 16 valves. Verbose and generally unimformative; by now you know this is my style. Pleased to be part of the gang again. Love and Kisses

Love the handle. Reminds me of Steppenwolf...
"You know the dealer, the dealer is a man

But the pusher is a monster
    Not a natural man.
    God Damn! The pusher."

Welcome! Your knowledge of various and less than sundry machines has me looking forward to your input.

"Well now, if I were the president of this land
You know I'd declare total war on the pusher man."
